On Laughton hit just watch how guy glanced over and saw him and then protected himself with both arms against the glass, but acted as he was shot from shotgun. SN panel has no clue. It was obvious embellishment.

That's what I thought the ref might see. He gave him his numbers, prepared for the hit to draw the penalty.

Refs have seen thousands of hits, they know the difference and the steps. Going to the dressing room and then returning 4 minutes later didn't help his cause tbh

Funny, because outside of Game 2 against Boston last year, I can't remember a dominant Matthews playoff performance. Most of the time, he looks exactly like he does right now, no matter what linemates he has.
