As a linesman, no less. He's wearing the number 85 which is not worn by any current NHL linesman. Interesting.

There was a playoff game earlier this year where the reserve official (which is always a referee in the first round, perhaps the second round too) came into the game and wore his usual number. That was interesting to see since referees normally wear 1-49 and linesmen normally wear 50-99.
