Seriously, what did Rodrigues do that made the ref think embellishment? He got hit from behind and went face first into the glass, fell, and got up. I don't understand how the ref saw any embellishment out of that. One of the most bizarre calls of the year.

There’s no conspiracy against any given team, NHL reffing is just incompetent. There’s a rule book, but it only applies at certain times and certain situations or certain scores.
