While it may very well be true that he got a concussion on the shot, why is everyone assuming it was? I read the tweet from the concussion expert but he is simply speculating. It happens all the time to goalies. The mask is designed to absorb and spread out the contact. I know it ended Richter's career, but I would like to hear from Stolarz before simply assuming it wasn't just the Bennett forearm.

My question not about when Stolarz sustained the concussion but more about why the NHL allows the clubs to control when a player is pulled. Stiles was vomiting after two head injuries and yet was allowed to continue to play? Then he’s hospitalized! That’s very concerning for the player’s health.
