As a neutral, I have nothing productive to add to this thread. That said...

...Tim Hortons come to NC you cowards! I want Timbits and coffee damnit.
You are better off hoping a local coffee merchant takes root and serves your community. Tim's is swill, don't do this to yourself or your loved ones.

As for tonight's game. there's a certain sense of inevitability that 1-1 split is in the offing. Leafs are good, for sure, but Panthers are dirty kitties....and cats tear through the Leaf. This is just natural selection folks.

I don’t know anyone that likes to throw 9 volt batteries at people. Let alone pay 4K to do it.😆
There is this magical place called "Philadelphia".

More of a triple-A guy huh? I find them too susceptible to drafts in the arena and they tend to hook over longer distances.

They are easier to smuggle past the ushers, I'll give you that. But we're getting off topic. Go Leafs!

It’s always Philly hahaha

I think we can all agree no one is going to shed a tear for Flyers fans when they miss the playoffs for a million years in a row.

Considering the seriousness of the Stolarz injury, why is the nhl not stepping in but (instead) allowing the club to control whether he plays? The guy got knocked in the head twice in short succession and then vomited. He was hospitalized.
Was he allowed to continue playing after he vomited? I forget the timeline.
While it may very well be true that he got a concussion on the shot, why is everyone assuming it was? I read the tweet from the concussion expert but he is simply speculating. It happens all the time to goalies. The mask is designed to absorb and spread out the contact. I know it ended Richter's career, but I would like to hear from Stolarz before simply assuming it wasn't just the Bennett forearm.

What is the allegation here? They tried to force him to play?

Isn't the most obvious answer he thought he was fine so the team believed him?

Paul Maurice today about Ekblad

“That man is as fit as he’s ever been in his life”

Hahahahaha

Maurice is an amazing coach with the media but I don’t think he intentionally meant to sound like an idiot lol

4:32 and on

Depth is still going to be an issue for Leafs and a strength for Florida so hopefully Matthews and Marner can contribute. Playing against two Selke candidates is tough but they’re still the better players and should be able score.

Nylander will also need to have a big game again. Obviously tkachuk and Bennett can not keep up so he’ll need to keep that killer attitude today.

Will be a good game either way but I still think the leafs take it. 3-2 leafs.
