those people are suckers committing fatal financial mistakes, win or lose.Reading stories of fans who traveled and paid thousands of dollars for tickets, hotel, gas, ect......
Just an unacceptable performance
that is really the sad part.Reading stories of fans who traveled and paid thousands of dollars for tickets, hotel, gas, ect......
Just an unacceptable performance
You think seeing a win makes the cost worth it?that is really the sad part.
fans get burned and the players jump in there 100,000 vehicles and go home no loss of revenue
that I do feel bad for, for the price of the tickets and such
and the 34 jerseys on the ice 350.00 each
Why, they got to see seven goals!Reading stories of fans who traveled and paid thousands of dollars for tickets, hotel, gas, ect......
Just an unacceptable performance
It would make it a lot better. People make the choice to spend the money but at least the team could show up. If they lost a hard fought game that's one thing but to lay down like they did is complete bullshitYou think the only way the cost was worth it is if they see a win?
Don’t feel bad for them. Life is way harder than blowing money on entertainment. These people have agency, and if they want to make foolish decisions that’s their prerogative.that is really the sad part.

This is such a crap narrative. 1) Leafs have a 1A/1B setup where there is little to no drop off between the two. 2) Panthers have a 10 million dollar goalie and a mediocre backup they picked up at the deadline after trading their goalie of the future. 3) Until game 5, Woll had been excellent for the LeafsI do wonder how Florida would be faring in this series if say, a Leaf player had skated through his crease halfway through game one and accidentally injured Bob.
There is no excuse for our forward group, but this Florida team isn't disliked because they play hard, no, that's not it.
It's tough to lose, but worse when you lose your starting goalie 30 minutes into a series.
Seeing Stolie, their glue, the guy who coordinates their flow and structure 5v5, puking on the bench rattled them to a man, and that was the series right there. This is such a crap narrative. 1) Leafs have a 1A/1B setup where there is little to no drop off between the two. 2) Panthers have a 10 million dollar goalie and a mediocre backup they picked up at the deadline after trading their goalie of the future. 3) Until game 5, Woll had been excellent for the Leafs
There is no question which team is better prepared to handle an injury to a goalie. It sucks that Stolarz is hurt, but to act like that injury changed the series is completely laughable.
Wonder of who became the lucky recipient of the one that made its way onto the ice surface?that is really the sad part.

no but it sure stings way moreYou think seeing a win makes the cost worth it?
I do wonder though. Just like the accident last year, by the same player as it were; who accidentally injured Knies in game one. Hmmm..This is such a crap narrative. 1) Leafs have a 1A/1B setup where there is little to no drop off between the two. 2) Panthers have a 10 million dollar goalie and a mediocre backup they picked up at the deadline after trading their goalie of the future. 3) Until game 5, Woll had been excellent for the Leafs

this guy is a complete and udder clown
seen this on another thread... I heard about this dude, wow clown
How many 3rd line C get 74 points? If they don't make the Cup Finals, I said before this season, you walk from Marner and JT at min. Unless JT takes a REALLY steep hometown discount and is willing to play 3rd Line Center, with PP action.
JT at least wants to win, he isn't as shy about going to the greasy areas but Leafs need as much Cap space as possible as they have fired so many bullets on trying to build around flawed stars who just don't have it.
Leafs will have to regroup with Cap Space and they still have enough to make the playoffs, but expectations for a year or two will be lowered until they can refresh their lineup.
It's also why I didn't wany Tre to go too hard at the deadline but at least he has term on Carlo and Laughton.
Sports is amazing though isn't it? Two years ago if the Panthers DON'T come back from that 3-1 series deficit against Boston, how does their team look today?
For a team to be down 3-2 in a series and seem completely lost, is frustrating. Their loss of Stolie in Game One of the series just sunk their flow and structure which he was a big part of. The injury to Stolie may have cost him MANY millions in a future contract if they could have rode him to the Finals.
If Leafs scored one extra goal in multiple Game Sevens and/or score in OT against Florida in game 3, how much different does everything look today?
In the end if the players don't want it enough, none of our pontifications mean much. I do know that if Panthers beat Leafs, they will remain the least popular team left in the playoffs.
embarrassing for a leaf fanOne of the worst people on earth
Stolarz is a great dude and goalie, and it’s a shame that he got hurt, but that’s no excuse to play like total crap three games after that injury happened.Seeing Stolie, their glue, the guy who coordinates their flow and structure 5v5, puking on the bench rattled them to a man, and that was the series right there.
I mean I don't disagree with your general point...I think the OP is a stupid narrative. In saying that....Woll was awful in game 3 lolThis is such a crap narrative. 1) Leafs have a 1A/1B setup where there is little to no drop off between the two. 2) Panthers have a 10 million dollar goalie and a mediocre backup they picked up at the deadline after trading their goalie of the future. 3) Until game 5, Woll had been excellent for the Leafs
