everybody scores on a breakaway? He didn't score. There is a goalie there, right?

Down 2-1 in a 3-1 series, you need to score on that. No he didn't score, and it's not totally on him, but a playoff performer buries that opportunity to stay in this.

It comes down to a lack of speed and grit if you ask me. Letting guys that were cheap and serviceable like Fedotenko and Mitchell go hurt this team's bottom 6.

Lundqvist has to learn how to play more at the top of his crease, he'd let up even less goals. Deflections wouldn't have as much time to change direction.

No he wouldn't.

He's never out of position on cross crease/lateral plays. If he came out more he'd have more ice to cover going side to side. He'd cut down angles for direct shots better, but give up more side to side.

Its a toss up really. The fact that his style has him as a top 3 goalie year in year out whereas guys like Quick, Rinne, etc fluctuate means its working.

I just don't think torts is a today's NHL coach.
If he was fired after the second period that would have been good.
Another problem is that we settle for mediocrity. Always in the middle of the pack.
Hopefully we can pull anther win out of our butts

us and them on offence in 2 different worlds...

they have a plan when they enter our zone, we don't..

I have no problem with Dorsett. I have a problem with our assclown coaching not using McDonagh and Moore on the power play and misusing Kreider. Hamrlik has to go as well.

Whatever happens, I hope Clownarella is gone.

Keep hoping dude but he aint going nowhere nor does he deserve to taking an untalented, smallish, finesse team to the ECF last year and the 2nd round this year. Since you're so smart, got a legit replacement for Torts?????
