Shortly after the Chara goal, the announcers mentioned the McDonagh trade (and how much of a steal it was) taking away some of the sting.

Despite being down on a pretty weak goal, despite the woeful PP, even before McDs great shot it wasn't a horrible period. We've matched the Bruins in most areas (they've had the better chances but not by much) and Cally had the tying goal on his stick but flubbed it.

Really need our top forwards to stand up. Brassard and MZA have been good, but they shouldn't be the best two. Nash made a nice play just before the goal, but he, Cally, Stepan and even hags need to lift.

McDs been the best D-man, deserved that goal

I don't get the hate either. I think we played ok. Definitely quite some room for improvement, but we didn't play bad as people here claim either.
