I’m trying to remember what is the last playoff win I saw live.

I think it was Zajac’s OT winner against the Panthers.

Went to game 2 in the SCF IN 2012- loss
Game 4 against Tampa in 18-loss
Game 2 against the Rongos in 23-loss

I am like due right?

Going to game three Friday night section 110. Let’s do this.

We are all due for some playoff wins against Carolina.

Games have been happening on Easter for years with a bunch of leagues, it's not something new.
If only there was a famous multiple OT playoff game that was played on Easter that one could call epic.

Edit: I guess it ended on Easter. Still with the way Easter moves around they can’t schedule around it like Christmas and Thanksgiving.

Because most Christians are focused on church and family. I’m not educated on the other religions. And if that’s the case, they should show respect on the most religious holidays of other religions as well. Most people take these specific days seriously.

You are free to focus on church and family. That is perfectly fine and I have plenty of family members like this as well. Some are also die-hard fans and will find a way to manage both on the same day. It's the freakin playoffs.

With playoff structure as it is, some very good teams will be eliminated in the first round… if we could pull the upset… you never know 😎

I think I was like 1-3 in 2023, went to Game 3 in 2018 v Tampa Bay that they won and then the 2012 game 3 v Florida where the dumbasses blew a 3-0 lead and Clemmensen came in and beat us lol. So overall a 2-4 record

Can't disagree with that, but it's not like we're the best scoring team either, especially 5v5.

But why are mentioning what the Canes are 5v5? We know what they are even strength, we also know the pathway to a series win or a respectable series is goaltending and an elite special teams in this series while not getting beaten in 5v5, we basically have to do what the Rags have done the past 2-3 years to them.

They also still have the worst goaltending in the playoffs bar none
Carolina? Freddie's good when he's healthy, that isn't the issue - last few dead rubber games aside. Hopefully that put him in a slump but I'm fully expecting him to be good against us the way he was two years ago.

The Canes scored 5 with their C squad against Senators playing at basically full lineup.

I don’t get why we’re comparing regular season stats from the last 5 games with teams that have been objectively better than us for 6 months. Is that because it’s generally a good idea to go into the playoffs playing well and showing effort? I wonder….

I guess if we want to feel inspired because the Canes have sucked the last few games we can do that, but what does that say about us? We haven’t been playing well either. You may argue that of all playoffs teams, we had the most to prove these last few games.

I think this would have been a different story (and I would have felt better) if we went 7-3 to finish the season. But we didn’t do that.
