If there’s a game on Easter, shame on the NHL. It’s not like it’s Thanksgiving or Christmas Eve. I hope they do have a low viewership if that’s the case. They deserve it.

There are NHL games on big Muslim and Jewish holidays, why does Easter get put on a pedestal?

Of course we get the 3:30pm home game, the one time slot I didn't want. I hate 8pm starts too. Scheduling hates me today, Red Bulls had their open cup draw this morning and got tossed out west as the odd team out and are playing in Colorado Springs instead of a team somewhat close.

i knew the devils would be getting the houston texans playoff schedule but i didn't think they would get it like this!

I am pretty pumped with the 8pm start on Friday. Means I can selfishly leave from work and make the game with more than enough time to grab a drink and some food, then be in my seats for puck drop.

Sure but I always worry about omg what happens in the case of double or triple OT? If you take the train up (fortunately I don’t anymore) that could be a problem. Of course our last multi OT game at home I don’t think was even in Newark lol

Even if you drive there and can conveniently get home I’d hate having to drive 45 minutes at one AM or later, especially in the case of a loss.

I don't care at all about road game time slots. Shut your phone off and dvr the game if you can't watch live. Tell people not to tell you the score. If your family and friends can't do that for you they ain't worth making plans with anyway.

They will be neutralized if Carolina has to use ropes to hog tie them. The guy who the Canes will have no answer for is Luke who they cannot just grab off every faceoff. If he can be the best player it will help.

What excuse? That what’s going to happen in my view. Did you not watch that WPG EDM series a couple of years ago where zero penalties were drawn by McDavid? NJ is not set up to cheat properly. It’s just the sad reality to me.

i'm excited they make the playoffs then they mail it in at the end of the year and i lose interest in the playoffs then the schedule gets released and i'm right back into it again wish there were more night slots guess they will just have to get them in the second round!
