Recording the Rangers encore at 3pm so I can hear the tears flowing from Sam and Joe.

And also watched Boomer this morning, he was one salty dude, just basically bashing the state of NJ.
Please if I can't get home in time to watch it can you take a video of Marino helping Palat off the ice? It's seriously the funniest hockey related sequence I've seen in forever. I've been cracking up at the thought of it all day and frantically googling trying to see if anyone clipped it.

That angle shows his 'stand your ground' argument. The employee accidentally bumped into this presumably wife. But that will be his argument.

The first angle doesn't show it.

Either way - you can't do that. And coincidentally I remember seeing this guy's face in some of the regular footage during the game (maybe before?).
"Stand your ground" argument?

I thought that was only in Florida, though?

Is it in NJ, too, and nobody told me?

He argues "Stand your ground" here in NJ, the Judge would go "You're a looong way from Florida, buddy.", then throws the book at him.

anyway :

Gonna reiterate something I said earlier this week: maybe this loss will finally get the hockey media to reassess how they've been viewing the Rangers the last few years.
They won't.

Because it's New York.

They're so far up NY's ass, they can taste what they had for lunch.

It's never going to be a case of the Media finally realizing that THEY. WERE. WRONG. (That would NEVER happen in a million years)

Instead, we will get more of the same DOUBLING-DOWN by the Media and the EXCUSES they give to the Rags.

It's never going to be anything the Devils did right but things the Rags did wrong.

And frankly, I couldn't give a sh*t.

ON TO CAROLINA! :devdance::devdance::devdance::devdance::devdance::devdance:

Consensus seems to be Gallant’s head will roll. They need a scapegoat.

Some of it should fall on Drury's head as he was the one who kept finding ill fitting pieces.

The biggest issues is the core is rotten though. Their drafting failures are burying them.

They most likely are still playing if they got literally anything from Laffy

It almost seems like Dolan got in the way with his star boners, especially in the Kane situation. The Rangers went so far away from what got them to within the brink of a SCF last year I'm not sure it was really a Drury thing. After an offseason where they overpaid for grit and got mocked from everyone, all of a sudden they went the talented merc route.

Sure you can't really argue with acquisition cost in either case (Kane or Tarasenko), but they were just like Shero on steroids, collecting inexpensive talent without any regard to how it fits as a team. Like Lou says, a team is an orchestra...you don't need five violinists.

it really does seem like Kane was the beginning of the end for them. he was rly shoe horned into that lineup. a bad fit and took time from the kids and Tarasenko.

i hope he resigns with the Rangers :)
