End of an era. No chance Bergeron or Krejci come back. This was the year. Looked like Bergeron was crying hugging Marchand at the end.

So disappointed in Charlie McAvoy tonight. Worst player on the ice in too many of these big games.

He was. Then raised his stick to crowd and sent a kiss.

So so sad.

This reminds me of 1993. They left it all on the ice during the regular season and had nothing to put them over the top in the playoffs.

To not be able to get the puck out with simple plays is honestly mind boggling. It is.

Their execution was terrible. Giveaways non-stop. Not getting puck deep. Bad D-zone. Gave up 3 3rd period leads in games 6 & 7. Florida deserved it.

I know it hurts, and hurts bad. But we have enjoyed our share of success in this era, including winning the most difficult trophy in sports. Could we have won more? Yes. Is this a missed opportunity? Yes. We will live to see another day, and we have many pieces to allow us to try and grow the next era.

It’s always talked about how dominant and in the top tier the Bs have stayed since our Cup . Does it matter ? Regular season means nothing and playoff chokes becoming regular
