Get the f*** over it already. It’s summer. Get off the boards and go live life. This team will be here for you to pick apart and over analyze in September.

This daily rehashing of the same shit in multiple threads is not healthy. You only get one life to live so instead of wasting hours here talking in circles here, get out there and spend time with family and friends.

Pretty sure people can come on here and make a 10 second post and still live a relatively good life ,don’t think anyone is curled up in the fetal position.Lol

Just wait if Cassidy wins the Cup. Heheheheh, that'll be a classic.
Would rather Vegas win,and doubt very much Bruins would have gotten bye Florida with Cassidy as coach either.Bruins really had no answer for an aggressive forecheck ,they looked like keystone cops in there own end with him as coach to.

Cassidy wouldn’t have made a difference. Even though we’ve harped on the decisions Montgomery made, ultimately it was the players who didn’t execute and there’s no reason to believe they would have done so under Cassidy.

Happy for Cassidy though.

You were the biggest critic of the team during the playoffs, now it's get over it?

I think the reactions people have to others venting about the choke of the century is more unhealthy. I mean best team in one hundred years, lead 3-1 in the series then they fall apart which has pretty much been the hallmark of this team since 2014

I know it doesn't fit in with the fanclub mentality of never holding their binkies accountable, but I think both are fine, this is a fun place.

Yeah especially with cell phones. Not like people are in their basement complaining. Again, it's not like people are complaining about a sixth seed going out early. To each their own, I love reading everyone basically here, it's fun..

If Bruce wins the Cup, Is it time to trade off all the players that worked the GM to get rid of him? Boy this is going to sting the Bruins organization.
I think the issue was Sweeney at the end of the year press conference intimated they were keeping him. Cassidy said he was not "in trouble". The players and I'm thinking Neely got Don to change his mind. If I were the GM, coupled with the folding like a cheap suit would make me get rid of as many players as possible.

The students’ last day was Friday.

I’m able to “work from home” today and save on child care.

Managed to crank out two 5 page papers this morning on school finance and budgeting with baby on my chest for most of the 3 hour process.

Looking forward to being able to hit the gym this afternoon.

Just popped in here to see what’s up.

At the end of the day, they won one Cup with this core.

They could have had 3, 4, or even 5.

They should have had least 2.

Better than none.
Better than Bourque needing to go elsewhere at the end to get his Cup.

But that’s a low bar to clear.

I’m ready to begin a new chapter.

Please.

That's ridiculous.

They were fortunate to get one.

That implies that I have family and friends I actually want to talk to, Ali!

Not me. Between my anger at these choking dogs and all the planning I'm doing for the week-long regular season points record festival my life is a mess. I barely sleep. I barely eat. My hair is falling out in clumps/

And I don't how to explain the negative balance in our bank account to my wife. She just won't understand why I had to buy so many $1,000 pucks. But every regular season win deserves their own!

Well I have probably been guilty of trying to set the hook to hard in the fish because of my anger that’s still inside me,and have probably missed a shooting star or two while I was posting on here sitting on the deck. Man I really need to get on with my life.Lol

I travel frequently for work, I’m in Houston right now. Going to be 100 degrees here in this city today. Even if I had family and friends around I wouldn’t step outside this hotel to meet up with them in this heat

Can you smell the dead fish from there?

Fortunately not where I’m at, but I do plan to drive by a beach later to see if it’s all cleaned up when I go out to find something to eat. I’m closer to Galveston I think that happened a little further south, but worth a look later.

I’m surprised how many people wish they had Pittsburgh type season and miss playoffs if they weren’t going to win Cup - and how 135 points means nothing lol
Im not sure I want to see the Bruins miss the playoffs unless it comes with Bedard, but setting a league record of having 135 points in a league where the regular season stats are becoming less and less meaningful every year, because of league wide parity and the majority of the teams goal is to just get to the dance because anything can happen as this season has so vividly shown. So 135 pts is surely not making me ready to throw a parade or even toot about it unless it comes with a Cup.

Despite the playoff choke, still the most fun I've had during a regular season. The fun was cut short by at least a month because of the first round loss. Might be a good tradeoff because I'm not sure how I would be able to handle things if the Bs lost to Cassidy in the SCF. The hockey gods spoke and possibly did Bs fans a favor when all is said and done.

Still don't think you're celebrating enough.
