Just fk’n win boys, don’t care how you do it!! Go Bruins!!!
What the hell was Charlie,doing on the Nylander breakaway goal have watched the replay a few times and can’t figure it out.Can you imagine hiring a 10 million dollar carpenter to build you a house and he can't hammer a nail after he gets there?
2011 was truly an exceptional season and very very unusual for a Bruins team.So, I did a little Game 7 research into this current Chara/Bergeron/Marchand leadership era. These are my results:
{Zdeno Chara, Captain}
2007 - DNQ.
2008 - Lost Game 7 @ Montreal 5-0.
2009 - Lost Game 7 vs. Carolina 3-2 OT.
2010 - Lost Game 7 vs. Philadelphia 4-3.
2011 - Won Game 7 vs. Montreal 4-3 OT.
2011 - Won Game 7 vs. Tampa Bay 1-0.
2011 - Won Game 7 @ Vancouver 4-0.
2012 - Lost Game 7 vs. Washington 2-1 OT.
2013 - Won Game 7 vs. Toronto 5-4 OT.
2014 - Lost Game 7 vs. Montreal 3-1.
2015 - DNQ.
2016 - DNQ.
2017 - No Game 7 Played.
2018 - Won Game 7 vs. Toronto 7-4.
2019 - Won Game 7 vs. Toronto 5-1.
2019 - Lost Game 7 vs. St. Louis 4-1.
2020 - No Game 7 Played.
{Patrice Bergeron, Captain}
2021 - No Game 7 Played.
2022 - Lost Game 7 @ Carolina 3-2.
2023 - Lost Game 7 vs. Florida 4-3 OT.
{Brad Marchand, Captain}
2024 - Game 7 vs. Toronto TBD.
At present, the record stands at 6-8. Not completely abysmal, but not really what we're looking for, either. 5-6 at home. 1-2 on the road.
Half of this era's Game 7 wins came in 2011, and the other half came vs. Toronto. Subtracting 2011 and the Maple Leafs leaves us with 0-8 in Game 7s. I didn't even get into breaking down series leads and all that, either.
I really hope the Bruins hold to form and wax Toronto tonight. Losing to the Leafs would be a crushing disappointment.
You’re good people! thank you!@TP70BruinsCup and the others whose parents are struggling, my heart goes out to you. Family is definitely a priority over sports, it does change perspective when you are dealing with something like that.
I hope Monty called Claude to find out tips on solving the trap game if that is what Toronto is doing, he finally did figure it out against Tampa in time to take them in game 7.
Went for a trail walk in my brand new Marchand 100th anniversary Bruins tee. Only one person said something, he pointed at it and said "not tonight", I said "oh yes, definitely tonight". That was it.
I heard some local radio chatter that Matthews was originally ill with food poisoning but that when he skated afterwards in practice, he tweaked his knee. So, who knows?
Yes, they got away with a too many men in the last game too.Even then the refs will probably say it hit the glass
Tim Thomas. Honestly believe he was THE reason we aren't sitting here 52 years later just like the Leafs. And the absolute physicality that the team had.2011 was truly an exceptional season and very very unusual for a Bruins team.
It was the first time the Bruins EVER overcame an 0-2 deficit, and they did it TWICE. Versus Montreal, and Vancouver. Of note, the Bruins lost Games 1 and 2 at home, and won Games 3 and 4 in Montreal to tie that series. Unbelievable. Not to mention defeating the Canadiens in OVERTIME in Game 7. A truly underrated series in Bruins history. Usually the Canadiens do that sort of thing to the Bruins.2011 was truly an exceptional season and very very unusual for a Bruins team.
Well, well, well. Another Game 7. At home. I wish I could go rah rah rah, we got this! But, history (0-6) isn't on our side. However, history is meant to be broken, right? I dont know which Bruins team will show up. But I hope its the one with heart that we've seen. The one who grinds. Who has grit. The one who forechecks. The one who feeds off the crowd and their teammates. The one who gets to the net. Takes no shit, willing to give everything to win. I want to see that team. Because we've have seen that one. Sure, it's been in spurts. But it's in there. I hope they bring it out. Give it your all. That our stars show up. We can't win without them. Show us that you care and give a damn. Not intimidated by the moment. Give us something we've haven't seen. Win game 7 at home. Send them packing. Do it for yourselves. Do it for the spoked B on the front of your jersey. Do it for your teammates. And do it for us.
I don't know what's going to happen. But I sure hope the boys show up. History is meant to be broken. So break it. Smash the whole f***ing thing down. And be ready from puck drop. Often and early. No excuses. Get the job done. You need it. And we need it. Believe.
Hopefully this isnt the last time I get to post this.

This means Heinen gets the winner…..with Matthews on the iceOmg, we go from Mathews drawing in to counter with Heinen also possible return
I think it was something like the thing he was doing on the Matthews’ breakaway goal.What the hell was Charlie,doing on the Nylander breakaway goal have watched the replay a few times and can’t figure it out.
Depends if he can hold his stick with both hands. If not, it could be repeat of John Moore in game 7 vs St-Louis.If Peeke gets in there, that's a game changer, imo people underestimated how solid he's been back there.
Based on those quotes, McAvoy sounds like a dink compared to Maroon.Actually, Charles, they come around way too often because YOU GENTLEMEN CANT CLOSE A SERIES
Forgot what happened on that one but he took the guy into the boards and left Nylander with a breakaway weird way to play a 2-1.He has some of the biggest brain cramps I have ever seen .If they lose tonight I really wouldn’t care if he was gone,his game 7 against Florida was one of the worst games I have ever seen bye a defenceman in my life ,he looked like a dear in the headlights the entire game.I think it was something like the thing he was doing on the Matthews’ breakaway goal.
