He skated directly to the bench.


As we know full well, the officials can call the play, issue a 5 minute and review the play.

Instead - nothing comes of a hit that should result in a 5 minute major penalty being issued.


If, by some miracle, Toronto wins the game, McAvoy is likely suspended for game 7.

I don’t get worked up about PK icetime.

I think some pretty average players can be good penalty killers and it spreads out the icetime a bit.
