But the "pathetic" thing here is not that.......it's the Maple Leafs play off record for the last 20years

I mean, it’s probably arguable that you following a team you ‘despise’ closer than your own team is also pretty ‘pathetic’

But I don’t personally think so, I think it’s awesome that the hockey universe revolves around the maple leafs. Just as God intended

Same! She was a Toronto fan from back when they would have been the Arenas. My grandfather (her son) was born in 1918 and became one of the original Rangers fans when the organization was founded.

Mine was born in Quebec, grew up in Manitoba, and married the son of Norwegian immigrants. If she never left Quebec she'd have been a Habs fan though...
