Was a weird year folks. Strong season really by ANY measure, but the expectations were so sky high and the make up of the team so tenuous that I can't help to think that we might be going through another playoff drought pretty quick. Both management and the fans might have had too high of an expectation. Identity is something we haven't had in almost a decade, going to take a while and few more iterations to find it. Team is suddenly not young anymore, so this might be our last chance for a while.
Hoping for the win, but I accepted the fate after game 3. Just make an effort out there, fading out on home ice would be awful.

Couple weeks back in Vancouver for the Fan Appreciation night (was there with wifey) Kravtsov showed more balls than most of our bloated, lazy primadonnas - I think I even shared some pics of him in the box for early penalties he took.

@duhmetreE always touches on it and I agree: we have holes that can't be coached away if we want to win it all, but teams with arguably more holes find a way to do the remedials of modern hockey.

Not only do we not have that third type of player, but the two types we have are often playing two different games.

helllo everyboty at New York Rangers Metropolums Area. i just stumble among high discussed column of regarding youngsters or not at team. i never watch this yet one more nonworking team but. i stumbled here ok. not taking any surprised levels as i see team trading here ol guns to prepare for playoff. they do many like this. thing is not giving good word for youngguns and also they picked at numbero uno second so very good level for them but they here at n y metropolum very badly treated they take these picks and not using them. they have stalled ok. i saw kakko monumentally talented coming here and they feed him for non success trails. they should from start buildet up his talant and numbers by letting him playing from line 1 and he today was king here at n y metropolum area. instaed he laying propably in dark bronks apartments playing videogames dreaming of what never happened yet. i see here nothing almost to beb inline before him. zibanjedad only playing too many minits in games not really anything of talant here . panarin also could go down li trust an lines. what more ? i dont remember kakko should be prio 1 here. bringing ol gun kane and russian player to bringing kakko way more down in lines?= this sick thing here. if kakko cemented to chytil here but this should be they playing line 1 then . nothing more before them in this team. this team deserving nothing.

I honestly believe losing tonight could be potentially the best thing for them because it's clear big changes would have to be made.

On the flip side, if Florida beats Boston and Toronto beats Tampa, it could be the easiest road to a Stanley Cup Final in the East in a long time. Every team remaining at that point has major flaws. And the West is weak in comparison. If the Rangers just pulled their collective heads out of their asses they could win it this spring.
