Should be a fun game just like the last 4 was, see you friday at the Bell Center Caps fans.
Finally, someone that knows how to spell Center. 😉

Caps need to do a better job on the PK. 5 of the Habs 11 goals are power play, the Caps have dominated even strength goal scoring. If the Caps can hold them there, it will tilt the odds for them. They need to close it out tonight. I personally don't want them to have to go back to Montreal for a game 6. That's just asking for a tied up series with the Habs having all the momentum into a game 7.

Adding: I saw an interview with Wilson where he said something to the effect that it was so loud in the Bell Center that the players could barely hear one another on the bench. That crowd and energy give Montreal an advantage.

I gotta say as a Habs fan this season - and this series - has been an absolute blast. It's an exciting feeling to have such a promising young core, and even moreso seeing as how they have done stepping up under pressure so far.

Obviously I want us to win - because I want us to go to round 2. But this series has been so exciting, that objectively speaking it would be a shame if it didn't at least make it back to Montreal for game 6 for the spectacle. I can only imagine how insane the crowd will be on friday if so :)

I predict Habs win tonight. They're going to put forth a tremendous effort. Many times this year when their backs were against the wall and everyone thought they were done, they came out swinging. So they won't go down without a fight.

Habs 4 Capitals 2

Whatever happens tonight this as been a great experience for our young players , also gives our management the opportunity to evaluate what changes need to be done in the years to come.

Facing a strong physical team like the Caps in the first round was a blessing for us imo.

BTW thanks for the spelling compliment, doing my best thinking in French writing in English 😂

Enjoy the game tonight.

Technically - it's a proper name and so it's called and spelled the Bell Centre

(which is the french spelling, which I assume you know).
Lol. Yes, I know. And I know the 'proper' spelling of it. 😛
Dropping rivalry sh*t-talking for a few minutes, I've just been having fun the entire series with the French-Canadien, err, Canadian, as well as the 'Queens English' spellings of things. Consider it a light-hearted chirp.

Haha. See above, and the comment from @Summer Rose . I give major credit to anyone who communicates near fluently in English when it's their second language. Better than my French, I'll guarantee you that.

May the better team - the Caps - win.

Now, back to making fun of your short, whiny, players.

I don't see how we can win this one without Montembeault and Carrier, especially if Laine plays.

Born and raise in Montréal had no other choice to speak some English we had to fight:fight:them in hockey games and most of them didn't speak French, now living in the country side 8 hours from Montréal not having alot of opportunity to practice it except with tourist i come here for some English lesson.

May the ''heartfullest'' (see i even invent new English word) team - the Habs - win

So Dobes is in nets? Yikes... five rookies, including the goalie, is a great learning experience but a terrible winning strategy.

The good news is that these five rookies will be a full year more experienced and improved when the Habs are in next year's playoffs!

Apparently Laine won't play and Carrier might. We'll see!
