To be fair, women haven't had decades to hone their craft with respect to most sports broadcasting. These are literally some of the first to ever do it. They can't get better if they never have opportunities.

Who is it? I watched women's Olympic hockey and they had a good crew. While there are a few really bad ones (Hextal) who get pushed on us most are 9k or at least better then some of the local crews. For example Hillary Knight is pretty good but I'm not sure how she would do PBP

Yeah that’s probably more accurate. That’s a bad way to do it though for so many reasons. You can hem a team in for 2 minutes, not score and get an icing. Win face off, score goal you didn’t deserve. Or god forbid someone breaks their leg after an offside that should have been, blocking a shot or something. (Is that what happened to Dougie or was that too many men?)

Either way, every time this happens, for or against the Canes it drives me nuts. Just get the call right. You’re the linesman. In that situation you have ONE job.

It’s gross in soccer too, but at least it’s just over right away. You can’t hem a team in for two minutes after you go offside and it literally has to have an impact on the play.
