Yeah but ILLMARK is overrated and just has his stat elevated behind that president trophy Bruins team. Play Martin or Delia in net and Boston still makes the playoffs lol
Nobody really thought differently, but given the reasons for his elevation, does Swayman do better? The Cats won one they shouldn't have, despite Bob not knowing where the puck is again.

Don't know about that but I am sure Ullmark is going to have a sleepless night because Tkachuk is the one who scored on him.

because of his own mistaken.

ullmark's sv% was terrible tonight; if he gives up a goal early in gm 6 he is going to get nervous and fold. he ain't a vet with nerves of steel

Aside from the OT blunder. Ullmark has been more than adequate. You may be selling a narrative no one is buying...
He is not that great. Put him on another team like Canucks and he will get lit like the sky during 4th of July. Boston would sweep Panthers if Demko was in their net.

Wonder if Swayman draws in for Game 6. .840SV% in a close out game when the team in front of you got 40+ shots on the other goalie isn't ideal and Boston always talks about them as 1A/1B.

I'd go back with Ullmark because I think Bobrovsky is just as prone to have a game like Ullmark did tonight.

he's had 2 stinkers and 3 good games. gm4 was teh weirdest game of the series. panthers IMO outplayed and outshot boston but manage to lose the game. panthers also hit i dont now like 3 to 4 posts in that game.

If ullmark is beat early he is going to start to manic IMO

I agree just don't get the narrative that thus series is in the bag if the Bruins don't make mistakes. That's the case with any team.
I think people mean if the Bruins are at their best, Florida won't win the series.

But that's usually the case when a huge underdog plays a favorite. If the favorite plays to their best abilities, the underdog usually won't win.

But no team plays great all the time.

True, I think Florida has played Boston at about 45-55 in this series. If they can win Game 6 with Barkov scoring, that would be a huge boost. Then you're leaning on experience and Bobrovsky has way more of that than Ullmark.

I'm convinced Boston will still win the series but hilarious all the people who say they'd rather have Brady because he's more of the mold to be a good postseason player. And I say this as someone who doesn't particularly like Matthew Tkachuk.
