This is game 4 (St.Louis OT goal) vs Montreal to me. We went up 2-0 on the road in that series and then came home and lost in OT in game 3. That game was massive to go up 3-1 instead of going back to Montreal 2-2, same thing here. Need to win this game.

its kinda insane...just watching today off the top of my head i saw 2 horrific calls on foligno in minn, barzal embellishment, and the trip on fiala in particular though there were several bad ones in la/edm. fingers crossed...all things considered our games haven't been anywhere near the worst. while the call on fox and igor ending up getting called for meier intentionally dropping on his leg were serious head scratchers, there's been a lot worse. hopefully stripes continue to let the teams decide the game and call it fair.

sidenote makes the leafs bellyaching about refs being out to get them that much more insufferable. like shut up morons we all deal with bad calls but one team has to make it about them...even after a game they won in ot where tampa had a good goal in regulation disallowed. i typically don't have an issue with the leafs or their fans but this is ridiculous.

And, most importantly, it's impossible to please fans who always believe their team is getting screwed.

It's a constant that will never change, so it's a waste of time to focus on it, but fans can think whatever they want.
