This board said that in 2015 after we lost a game 7 in the our third ECF in four years, so it seems to me like it's just a reflex.

We underestimated Pittsburgh and we're obviously not there yet.

We improved on the team that we saw in the first half but the truth is probably in the middle of that, and after the deadline. The middle of that is a mediocre hockey team.

We desperately need another defenseman and we still need a center that's actually a center.
