Nemeth is good for at least 1 penalty against in each game and the pens cash is more often than not when he does. I would say thats costly af

I feel like it's 2-0 Pens. Not a good period at all.

We're getting completely outhustled when it counts. We're playing faster, looser and more intense than the Pens but they're choosing to match those attributes conservatively and they dominate us when they do.

Killing us on the boards, half wall and behind the net. Much quicker when the puck is loose in the zone and far more disciplined on defense

We need to shoot a lot more and play a lot sharper near the point and house. No point racing through the neutral zone so we can just get outhustled after the dump and chase

Rangers were missing their 2D and their entire fourth line, then Kreider got hurt.

That said, the Rangers continue to need more from guys like Zibanejad, Trouba, and Igor.

Over reliance on vets. Kid line is carrying, but minutes still way too light.
Plays terrible d pairings rather than try to change it up: Nemeth. Nemeth. Seriously. This guy is still in.
Not maximizing talent: Benches Hunt but keeps playing Reeves. You trusted Hunt on line 2 but he isn't better than RR? Ok.

Having no viable upgrade ready for Nemeth is on Drury. Gallant is playing what he has. Nemeth being garbage all year and Drury ignoring it and gettind a right handed 7d instead is the issue.

Pens are neutrazling our talent, we are at their pace and they have more experience doing it at this level. Too much puck watching

Their sticks are much quicker on net front scrambles. Quicker sticks knocking away pucks. They're simply more alert and tracking the puck better. Zibanejad is just slow reacting to everything. Panarin is quick and alert but won't venture inside the circles.
