You can’t score if you can’t skate. I’m fine to bury Matthews when he deserves it but he was clearly sick tonight. He’s had a good series otherwise

in a way the results were seeing is all because Matthews, Marner, Tavares, Nylander and Rielly were paid too much. sure the flat cap coming in made things harder than it should have. but this is the results of their greed. the team is filled with bargain bin replacements or young players who simply just arent there yet or arent good enough.

in the end it made them one of the easiest teams to play against. literally just make things hard on the big 4 and you got the game because they have ZERO depth scoring
