At some point you have to make a change at the top to change the entire culture in the organization. Boh Shanahan and Blake have been at top long enough without the success you want in the playoffs.

Not sure how their contracts look but these guys pretty much fail every year. They have to try something different for their fanbase. Then again, the Leafs front office might be content with making the playoffs every year even if they don't win a round so they will probably run it back and have another season with a lot of highlights and then they will take a huge dump in the playoffs

I don't think any of them move the needle. Domi has had moment this series, and Bertuzzi had some this season, but that's over $5m that you could have used one 1/2 shut down defender depth which would have certainly helped.

But again, the big wigs aren't performing so honestly without them contributing much, you just can't win many games.
