Peace Bruin fans. An fyi of interest. Ben Harpur #67 is on D for the Senators for Boro -> he is up for off season shoulder surgery so it may have caught up to him. Harpur played his first few NHL games at the end of the season and looked good - big guy, decent skating, good hands, played smart and kept it simple. Playoffs is different of course.
Watching the gong show from visiting team with Mod warnings on the Caps board, glad to have the Bruins this round. More hockey, less circus.

Fingers crossed that Krejci and C Miller can play!!
Anyone know a good way to kill 4 hours?
“Tommy’s a good pro,†said Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy, who worked with the defenseman for parts of five seasons in Providence. “He’s a captain down there. He’ll give everything he’s got. Whether that helps us win or not tonight, to be determined if he goes in.
“But I’m not concerned about Tommy’s game in terms of being nervous or anything like that. It’s just having not played up here this year, it’s a bit of the unknown like the other guys.â€
It is not fun to be left behind, however gracious Cross might be.
“When a guy gets called up, you’re happy for him,†Cross said. “We follow along. Most recently, Charlie comes up and does a great job. We’re all chatting about it down there. Same thing with [Sean Kuraly]. You’re happy for it. Especially over the years, too.
“Joe Morrow came up a couple years ago. It’s happened with a lot of guys. You just take care of what you can control, be happy for guys, and keep working.â€
The Bruins picked Cross in the second round of 2007. Zach Hamill, their first-round pick, last played in the NHL in 2011-12. Hamill played this year in Sweden.

Leafs fans in the playoffs are like a young puppy in a new home. All scrambling and sliding around, not knowing where to go or how to act, and more likely than not they end up peeing on the floor. We had a whole litter of them in here at the end of the season. Our mods had to send them to the pound.
Please just gut out the win and get bodies back for game 4. I dont like the idea of falling behind in this series against a trap defence. Come on boys, light em up!
How can you not feel like you can walk all over this as Ottawa? I mean how much more of an advantage do you need? Good Lord.... And I love myself some McAvoy, don't get me wrong.
Yeah, I'm with you.
What's the noise on this guy that is replacing Boro****** tonight? Is he going to rough it up?
So completely unnecessary to include the Hamill tidbit in that article. Somebody's trolling lol.
Good chance for Cross to showcase that he belongs. Looking for him to have a big game with some rough stuff included.
So which defenseman gets hurt tonight?
