I think the Caps being PT winners saves Brind’Amour no matter what but if Canes get through this and get waxed again next round with those home road splits I think if he doesn’t make the final next year he’s gone

I think it’s more a playoff style hockey matchup issue with them though. They’ve lost some road games over the next last 6-7 to teams who weren’t exactly great teams in season at home
