I do like how they are disguising it by only giving the Caps 3 pp opportunities in 2 games.

Dvo being a vet, along with Matheson, is it's own issue.

...the main issue is our coach, imo...play vets, who get carte blanche to f*** up, instead of kids, who SIT after a mistake...

Yup. Sens are down 0-2 too but feel like they’re going to get swept. After the Hsbsctwo losses I feel like they’re going to win the next two and the series.

It's a joke lol.

Refs have missed a ton of calls on BOTH sides. Montreal literally had more powerplays this game.

Some of the die-hard fans need to look in the mirror and learn to either give props to the Caps for dominating 70% of the games, and/or the Habs for not being able to string together strong play.

Just messing around, obviously he’s a very talented player… Also obvious he’s been in over his head so far this series… as one would expect for a player of his size, in his first playoffs, against a team like the caps.

No doubt if the Caps keep wearing themselves out by the 3rd period and aren’t moving their feet on defense, he’s gonna put someone on his highlight reel in game 3 or 4

Imo, y'all need better vets to play with the kids. Just focusing on Slaf, he'd benefit from playing with a bigger guy who used to be an effective top liner, who showed him how to use his size to make the game easier. It's anecdotal, but the best teammate Barkov had was Jagr who taught him guys our size don't need to rush and force things in this league.

I've already said what I think about Demidov or however it's spelled playing with Evans and the gang.

Wsh isnt going very far in the playoffs. Mtl is terrible amd kept both games close

We will see in the next round how the Caps play when they are taking their opponent seriously. Wash thought they can coast, the Habs almost made them pay for it. Problem for the Habs is they are just not good enough which is why the Caps did not take them seriously.
