I’ll say this again because people can’t grasp it. Leaf fans are literally tramuatized! Imagine wanting something sooooooo bad! And yet you get your heart ripped out every time! “Man it’s so quiet in there” WTF were you expecting! I wasn’t there but I bet it was like egg shells. Can we talk about how awful Toronto's playoff atmosphere is? Real fans have been priced out and the entire lower bowl is über wealthy retirees who can't even be bothered to get off their a** to make noise and support their team. That place sounded like a regular season game in October.

The reality is that in 3 years these two teams could very well reverse roles. But for now, Ottawa is in tough. I think they will win one of their home games, but that will be it.

This was his team and he's still doing the work of the Captain while Matthews no-shows both in game and in media obligations. The leafs played absolutely horrible tonight and had no business winning that game. The Senators could not even capitalize when the leafs were half asleep all game, they might be in trouble.

Leafs pulled their butts out of the fire last minute there, but I'm more concerned about why they decided to fall asleep for the last two periods.

Ottawa came very close to making them pay for that, and I expect them to get better as the series goes on.

Hard to complain about being up 2-0 though...Happy about that!

Yup. Just two years ago, the Devils, a young inexperienced team in their first playoff going up against their big brother rival Rangers. The Rangers pummeled them 5-1 in games 1 and 2. The Devils came back and won in 7.
