The professional ones do.Is a sound check pre-game unusual? I imagine all venues preform them.

Chris Stevenson also confirmed on ottawa radio that even though that's happening here and there, Game 1 was the loudest he's ever heard that arena since he's been covering games at SBA
It has had some little brother energy for a while. This thread got some "it happens to everyone, I swear" energy real quick.
It's what he said lol. I don't care what they do in the arena
Sounds like itWell, I guess that sound system is really doing its job.
I was talking more in general rather than specifics . Getting shots are all well and good but it matters greatly where these shots are being generated from . Anyway looking forward to tonightThe first two penalties were taken in the offensive zone when the Sens were forechecking. The third penalty was taken on the PK. Prior to the first Stutzle penalty, the shots were 15-6 for the Sens. None of the penalties had anything to do with giving up a grade A chance. They were borderline calls that went against the Sens when they had been doing a good job at carrying the play. The two goals were an odd-man rush and a breakaway. The sens do give up a lot of rush chances, but it wasn't like they were getting caved in. Rather they were down a goal in a game where they were getting lots of chances. It was 2-1 before the three penalties that basically ended the game.
That’s North American sports culture for yaOttawa radio just confirmed Scotiabank Arena is piping in "Go Leafs Go" chants over the soundsystem during the pregame soundcheck. Holy f*** lmao
What's going to be the excuse when Leaf fans outnumber and are louder than Sens fans in Ottawa? I know that 45 mins drive the arena is such a killer...Well, I guess that sound system is really doing its job.
This just in Scotiabank has in game prompts....like literally every single arena in the league lmao

Both are true. I don't care what they do with sounds but it also sounds like it's having some effect if it gets the fans going.
You'd think they'd be buying up tickets to tonights game... there's still a lot of available tickets on the market right now.No need to be sensitive.
The suits can’t be expected to use their own voices to cheer, can they?
I don't care

One thing I can guarantee is the Go Leafs Go chants you hear during Game 3 and 4 will definitely not be pumped in noise from the arena.
The dude pressing the buttons for in game prompts of course.Who owns MLSE?
