Cause performance is more than just raw save percentage?

And no one is blaming him per se but the whole idea is that he’s gonna steal a series or multiple series’ for us and he’s been merely good. Each of the two goals he’s allowed tonite were saveable though and he just kinda didn’t.

Hell of a game. We’re getting plenty of chances, but the Penguins look dangerous every time they get the puck, likely because they control the crease.

Overall, their guys have better hockey sense and stick skills.

So many thought his game would elevate with the physicality of the playoffs. I think as the game tightens up and you have less time to process it, his lack of hockey IQ becomes way more apparent. He’s too dumb for playoff hockey.

Panarin's style of play just does not help in games like this. He makes great plays but his inability or refusal to skate with the puck really hurts. He either executes something great or the other team regains the puck.

It's frustrating because he used to control the tempo of the game so well. You nailed it.

I was mentally prepared for this kind of series , POs are a different animal than the regular season ,I hate those fookers but they got HOEers who have won multiple cups playing and a coach that coached them to back2back cups.
