They've done that regularly over the past couple seasons. There are a few reasons they can.

High sticks obviously gotta be called if they're legit but nowadays I always expect officials may call something tick tacky late in tie games whereas 25 years ago that never happened. Game 6/7 I still think they pocket the whistles late but early in series they don't

don’t think Montreals been the better team by any means but they’ve been there the whole time. Never truly out of it. Can’t ask for more.
