One bounce or fast break awayNot the same league. Habs won't do much. But good experience for the youngters...

Ryan Leonard is going to be an amazing player. Still my favorite player from that draft class.
It was. There's been a bunch of tackles behind the play from both teams, but that was definitely a missed call. That's a pretty dangerous play from Leonard and it's clearly a penalty.
Even as a third liner, I wouldn't get excited about him being on my team. He had that good year in Columbus. I didn't call him garbage, an AHLer, or other like same. Just don't think he impacts a game much.Marginal?
He's being used as a 2nd liner when he really should be a 3d liner, but calling him marginal seems off.
I believe the politically correct term is "mule oriented"Jesus Christ these refs are such ass.
I hope everyone saw what Matheson is good at

I know your GMs will be lining up for his services
The best PK units are grindy buzz sawsYou need a good PK though.
Matheson moves the puck well a lot of the time. But makes too many stupid plays.size and physicality is a mismatch, its more than that.
Montreal defense aside from Hutson and maybe Carrier don't move the puck clean, against a strong forechecking team like Caps is suicide.
and they are practically a 1 line team.
They are the worst of the playoff teams, and their theoretical 2nd line is a guy who is a massive liability 5 on 5, a guy who has shown he can't be a 2C, and a guy playing his 3d NHL game.(Laine-Newhood-Demidov)size and physicality is a mismatch, its more than that.

Habs are predominantly a perimeter shooting team and only manage to sneak into the slot rarely. The problem is that the good defenses of the better teams in the playoffs will shut down that perimeter shooting pretty quickly.Inner slot shots
Washington-12
Montreal-1
I’ve posted twice already that the biggest difference is Washington protecting their slot much more efficiently. And it is the type of thing that involves a playoff learning curve. You can k on that playoff hockey is a different beast, but experiencing it is something different altogether.
make-up noncall for the trip on Carlson in the first I guess. To be fair, that was interference
Marginal still seems harsh, to me.Even as a third liner, I wouldn't get excited about him being on my team. He had that good year in Columbus. I didn't call him garbage, an AHLer, or other like same. Just don't think he impacts a game much.
He has done a great job this season of sizeably increasing my calcium intake via antacids.I hope everyone saw what Matheson is good at

Matheson is a bit old for mentoringThat was Dougie Hamilton prior to Giordano mentoring

I wouldn't call it egregious but I can understand the argument that the caps have gotten away with a few extras in comparison.Leaf-like favoritism shown to Washington by the officials.
Would not great offensively or defensively but has some size he uses when he feels up to it be better?Marginal still seems harsh, to me.
