The Habs core is:
Suzuki, Caufield, Slaf, Demidov, Ghule, Hutson.
Our 1st line, Top pairing and best prospect
I just figured your core was your best players, my bad.

You’re trying to strike a nerve, but he was always going to be. Habs got the top pick in an exceptionally weak draft. It’s not like Cooley or Wright would be of any help in a game/series like this either.Isn't skilled enough or tough enough, will be a fine complimentary player, propped up by his draft hype only.
Wash yourHabs playing soft as hell for a while now, seems to be MSL philosophy
Bring back Michel Therrien
Didn't notice he was out. When is Protas back
He would be in the hospital soon after. Anderson would beat the shat out of him.Imagine Wilson catching Hutson at full speed![]()
The guess is game 3 or 4.When is Protas back
It's crazy that they look like this missing a 30 goal scorer after how shitty they were last year.Didn't notice he was out.
They need to learn rispeckWash yourwith soap right now !
When you are casually going up to the opposing goalie after the whistle has already clearly gone they always let players rough you up post whistle this isn't anything new.So in what world is that not roughing? Suzuki had already shot the puck by a long time.
I just figured your core was your best players, my bad.
The refs ARE a joke. Habs are a one line team and it's probably no more than 1-0 without the refs.Yes it’s the refs fault. Montreal looking like the young team they are and that’s ok
Definitely a weak spot with this roster.Habs veteran players are so bad
Which of the actual core guys? Suzuki and Caufield I guess?
Hutson, Slaf, Demidov no....
That one was quite gratuitous though but yeah it's the type of stuff that gets called in the regular season but not the playoffs....When you are casually going up to the opposing goalie after the whistle has already clearly gone they always let players rough you up post whistle this isn't anything new.
Yeah interesting point for sure........I wonder if MSL is the best coach for him personally. Look at Knies under Berube. Sometimes these players need a coach who sees the game from a physical side first
the amount of hype they were getting near the end of the season was wild, many people predicted them to steamroll in the playoffsYou've probably missed the part that they are, by far, the youngest team in these playoffs.
I think they're doing quite well for a young group playing their first playoffs game
MSL could have challenged it. It is not guaranteed he would have won the challenge since the standard is shoulder height for a missed stoppage high stick. MSL chose not to risk it.The NHL continues to be the most illogical of all pro sport leagues.
So the puck was played with a high stick and if it went in, it would have been called back.
SInce when do you get to play the puck with a high stick?
Isn't the rule so people are not potentially injured with people waving their sticks around? Unless it's a Michigan, then I can jam my stick blade as hard as I can right towards the Goalies eyes. That's acceptable.
If you can challenge for a missed offside that meant nothing but can get a goal called back, why can't you challenge for a puck played with a high stick that wasn't called?
If you see a goal was missed in the war room, they call down and make it right. Why does a coach have to risk a penalty when you missed the call?
I love this league but it sucks.
He is only 20 so he should improve (unless the big contract ended his interest in working hard). You’re trying to strike a nerve, but he was always going to be. Habs got the top pick in an exceptionally weak draft. It’s not like Cooley or Wright would be of any help in a game/series like this either.
Not one soul predicted that.the amount of hype they were getting near the end of the season was wild, many people predicted them to steamroll in the playoffs
Yeah, I'd say the same about the season they had. You've probably missed the part that they are, by far, the youngest team in these playoffs.
