Could have not called anything but almost always the ref says something like next dbag that does something is getting 2. Newhook felt it was his time to shine. Don’t worry there is a lot of hockey to play and there will be bs calls that go for Montreal too

But for the Habs, any nerves anyone may have had, should have been resolves (or checked out of them by the Caps!)...and they can now approach the second with some more speed and strategy in mind.

I mean, given everything that went down, they are not out of this at all.

For sure. Only down a goal due to a PP. Mixed it up with the Caps. Hung with them. For so many guys who haven't played in the playoffs before I thought they handled themselves well in a tough environment. Fun first pd.

Rather they allow it all....
