I've seen guys play with broken wrists, broken ribs, punctured lungs etc.

It's April 20th, not November 20th, It's game 1, you should be expected to play.

It's not clear where Nylander's injury is, but what's the point in having a 60% Nylander playing if he can't skate, shoot, or is more likely to avoid contact or not go for puck battles?

One of those things is likely to be compromised, so play someone who's nearer to 100%.

All is not lost if he misses this game or even game 2 and 3.
