It was a BS stoppage. Really was.

I'd be angry with the officials in general tonight if I was a Senators fan.

Oh I'm not saying it was a good stoppage. Just wondering if that's a point of "blame". Odd to be on the benefactor side of one of those, so I'm not really sure how to react.

I thought he was hurt and started to go to bed then realized what was going on.

Against all odds and the flow of play the B's come back and pull it out, tickled pink right now.

What a set of hands McAcoy has . Tremendous hand eye coordination. Gutsy win . We still need one of C Miller , Krug or Carlo back to win this series .

I don't want to go over there... I'm sure they're sore.

The Canadian broadcast went nuts over it. Showed a replay of a time some games back when it wasn't whistled down against them.

Dare I ask? How mad be Ottawa fans about the Chara equipment stoppage?

Bruins had the puck, Sens ended up with an offensive zone face-off. No problem with that call. That Smith dive in the second turned the game in the Sens favor in the second so it evened out :)

Sidenote: at some point in this series I'm going to need one or more of our guys to stand up and give it to Borowiecki, Smith and co.

Esp Borowiecki.

That could have gone better.

Blowing a play dead for a broken skate blade seems to be the new normal. Didn't we see the same whistle not too long ago playing Toronto when a Leaf lost his blade?

He looks like the real... McCoy... :D:handclap:

Very proud of the team tonight.

Me too, me too. They pulled out their family jewels in the third. I thought it was impossible for them to win tonight without Carlo, Krejci, Krug and then Colin Miller. Gutsy, gutsy effort.

Yeah, total inconsistency around the league this season when it comes to stopping or not stopping play. Bs fans would have been mad as hell if it wasn't whistled down one game and then another game it was whistled down. I guess every fan base has reason to get irritated with the inconsistency. NHL needs to address the inconsistency.

McAvoy reminds me of Raymond Bourque. Just an all around solid defenseman. He is even built like him. Let's hope he has the same career too!

I'm not going to touch a Bourque comparison (mostly because of where I put Ray among the best of all time), but he looked like a Doughty clone to these eyes.
