Boston structure is better, their making the plays, goal tending is better, PP taking advantage, and they have clear advantage with mental playoff pedigree right now. Boston core has made multiple deep playoff runs: Leafs core haven't! Until Leafs do, they'll always be doubt in their heads. Can all that change? Sure it can, but Leafs are going to have to show it before this NHL fans thinks they can. Failing the other night when Kuch and Mathews were chasing history, did them no favors right before playoffs. Probably has those bad mojo demons a swirling in heads.

Why do you think the refs are biased against the leafs?
Over the last 8 years, despite being 3rd in the NHL in overall points, 2nd in goals for, top 5 in even strength chances for and scoring, Toronto finds itself 28th in power play opportunities.

2 of the teams behind them haven't been in existence for 8 years.
