the leafs lose playoff games by huge margins way too often. I dont think any team has won it all that simultaneously lost by 4+ goal margins as often as the leafs do.

Penalties killing the Leafs

Leafs need to learn how to kill a penalty. Special teams are huge come playoff time. SC winners tend to be top 10 in both PP and PK. Leafs have a good PP but their PK is awful.

Matthews has been ok, and it’s not his fault it’s 4-0, but this guy absolutely needs to be a big game guy. He just isn’t there yet.

Though Mathews not reaching greatness other night, when both Kuch and him where chasing history, might bring about bad mojo. Hockey it so mental at times, and why We wanted Kuch/Team to get it done in that big moment. Leafs have what it takes to get it going, but they're going to need positive vibes quickly.
