I love Boston sports radio. Today "You know I think the Pats outlook for the draft..."
It's worse when they actually talk about the Bruins. Felger was going on an on about how the team is sick because they got worn down chasing the points record. No mention that the team rested players and tried other line combos so they are now much better able to handle something like this. The facts sometimes get in his way.

Bergeron is gametime decision. - Ullmark is gametime decision. - Swayman, who missed practice yesterday with illness, took part in optional morning skate. - Bussi up from Providence as emergency third. - Foligno likely to play. - Forbort is definitively in.

Jaysus H! If it isn't the "luck" o' the Irish! Could anyone possibly predict that we might start Game 1 without either our first or 2nd goalie - (you know, the greatest tandom in the NHL) AND our #1 center?

Don't mind me, I'm a pessimist at heart but this is a kick in the balls from those bastard Hockey Gods and now Florida will be stoked from smelling blood in the water.

Okay, we can win regardless, but I'm going to need a little liquid sedation...

Block the noise and get the job done. This team is full of playoff experience. They have seen this dance before. Plus monty is a suberb players coach and will have them ready. Key is D and more D backcheck and use the boards to get the puck out swiftly. Forwards creating layers with the D . It's a old formula. But a winning one especially playoff time.

I don't listen to that Felger dude, never have. Judging by what people are saying in here, he seems like a dude you'd just want to punch in the face.

So um,

Bergeron is a game time decision, yet a week ago it was said he didn't continue past 1st period as a precaution...

Hey all, back after mostly lurking for a while (plus after the site got updated it wouldn't let me log in for a good while...). Can't wait for tonight, feeling uncharacteristically optimistic going into this series. Hard not to feel confident in this group after the season they've had, but I'm sure it will be a tough series. Just hopefully not a close one!

I will say, having recently recovered from a stomach bug, when I heard Pastrnak was basically playing through one late in the season I did a face palm. What the hell were they thinking letting him be anywhere near the team with a highly communicable bug like that?! Blows my mind.

Oh well, hopefully it'll have mostly blown over by Game 2 and we won't even remember this talking point a month from now...

I say don't play him unless/until he's 100%. It's not like it's game 7 of the finals. If he plays hurt/sick he may miss more time - we can't risk that.

Then again, what if he doesn't dress and then Krejci goes down in the game? I'm just pissed at fate for the moment don't mind me...

He doesn’t believe in half the shit he says. He just says shocking dumb stuff so people come after him and talk about him.
Felger is character playing a role and not very convincingly one at that. I listened to some of his bruins insights recently and it was laughably out of date, he’s clearly not watched a single bruins game all year, therefore he will remain inconsequential with his boobish, out of date takes.
