Can’t wait for the puck to drop, feeling a bit nervous and I don’t think this series will be as easy as many outsiders predict for the Bruins. Even with the bug going I think we’ll be ok. For me I think Tyler Bertuzzi will come huge through the playoffs. He is finally making his playoff debut tonight almost ten years after being drafted by the Red Wings! He has playoff experience with lengthy runs in the AHL and OHL, looking to forward to see what can do in his first taste of NHL playoff action. Who else do you guys think steps up tonight for the B’s?

I'm going to piggyback off this if I may, @JustinCaron.

Taylor Hall, David Pastranak, Jake DeBrusk, Charlie McAvoy and Hampus Lindholm are also looking to etch their names into playoff history. Those guys are HUNGRY.

LOL Felger and Maz are in heaven with the bruins illness issues. They love this.
I don't listen to 98.5 much, but put it on some late last week just to see if there was much buzz about the Bruins. My gosh, in between Pats and Red Sox talk, those guys couldn't stop talking about how the 76-77 Montreal team was greater than this season's Bs team. Did everything they could to put an asterisk beside the Bs accomplishments this season. Got my fill of idiocy pretty quick. Alexa, turn off radio.

Your friendly reminder that “Wannab’s” is the dumbest nickname ever created to describe the Providence Bruins players.

THANK YOU! I thought it was just me. Toss it into the pile of other annoying words/phrases such as "celly" and Jack saying "a BUCK and a half to go" and send that nickname seaworthy, to paraphrase one Sol Rosenberg.

Awesome GDT, Fenway. Spectacular amount of detail there!

I watched highlights of some B's playoff games yesterday and they were sooo close to beating the Canes in game 7 but just never had enough talent and/or home ice advantage to advance to round 2

They advanced to round 2 in 2021 but Game 6 against the Islanders stuck out as being one of those games where the Bruins were just not tough enough, and looked like some players just gave up and/or shouldn't have been on the ice due to injuries

I don't see no quit in this team and the talent and toughness are there, so if they can stay healthy enough they should not only win this series, but will hopefully have a loooong run into the Finals

The NHL has so much parity that it usually comes down to who wants it more

I think the Bruins want it more...but only time will tell

Go B's!!!
Wars are won in the will.

If their former captain kicking ass and being with the city for that marathon does spring the boys into a storied run now that we haven’t gotten out of the regular season I don’t know what will!

Go bruins

He looks like he could log 20+ minutes easily. Maybe the Bs can sign him up for tonight? :dunno:

Seriously I hope Big Z is in the house tonight

I can remember watching an off-ice training video of his, and was just shocked at what he can do. He is just an incredible athlete that is all heart.

I'm fired up!!! Drop the damn puck!!

Maybe I'm nuts, I've never felt more calm before a playoffs. Usually, I'm an emotional wreak making my wife threaten to have me committed.

Not today, not this season. Too many guys coming back into the lineup, too many guys who have been quite for awhile, guys who know this is the last dance, too many hungry guys, too much talent and pride in the locker room to not get the job done!!
