Yes

Marner needs to be hit a few times ....but is a slippery mf

It will be interesting to see how Cassidy does the matchups

Imo should have the Bergeron line against Tavares line

And McAvoy and Chara against Matthews as much as possible
Not worried about Marner, he took a few hits last series and bounced back from all of them. He is like a little terrier that just never quits until you give him the damn ball.

Does Cassidy play Bergeron line with the Chara pairing or will they be split? I asked before but never got an answer

LOL so like my original comment said... it's funny when Leafs fans bring up Bruins fans being cocky. The rest of the fans in the NHL aren't going to just forget how cocky you were before you started losing.

Remember the “Bruins are starting to get healthy” thread.

Leafs fans saying the Bruins had no chance to catch the leafs, they also wouldn’t catch Buffalo, and that the leafs were going to catch tampa because they were closer to Tampa than Boston.

Also posting about how Bergeron was old and declining.

These things are still available to read if anyone wants too btw.

Bruins 4, Leafs 2.

This is a bold prediction but I think Chris Wagner is going to be the x-factor in this series. Laugh if you must but he is going to pot one tonight and hit everything in blue/white.

Not sure about the scoring, but Wagner has been flying lately. In on every puck, throwing bodies everywhere, and is good for a quality scoring chance or two. Very happy with him this season

First game of the Bruins/Leafs series and everyone is fighting already, I wouldn't have it any other way. hahaha.

Also Corey Conners the Canadian is tied for first at the Masters.

What a weekend it will be.

Split if it were up to me

But you also have Carlo who is like a younger faster Chara, that could probably give Matthews some problems

If there are issues you can bet Cassidy will adjust the D core

Chara and Carlo are the ultimate Bruins twin tower/shut down

Gryz and Mcavoy go way back from their days of college hockey and have good chemistry

I predict Marner will be lightly brushed by an elbow and Leafs media will pretend it's equivalent to jumping into the head of a player who is prone on the ice and facing the boards.

Kadri shouldn't have did what he did to Wingles, but what Wingles did to Marner was even more gutless.

The game is already a blowout and you still target someone's head on a play.

Kadri was a dumbass for what he did, but I can at least understand why Kadri did it.

Thanks, it seems like this will be more of a chess match between coaches.

So what I'm hearing is you lurk on the Leafs board.

Bobcock is a world class coach

The only disconnect maybe, this is not his ideal lineup

Back when he coached Anaheim, Detroit he always had some sandpaper in the lineup

But Dubas doesnt believe in this

Wasn't quite a blowout yet at that point, it was 3-1.

The best way to answer your question, I think would be to say. Chara more than likely will be on the ice when ever Mathews is, no matter what Bruins line is out-there.

Bold statement when the guy only has 32 career goals with 3 in the playoffs. If he scores, i will happily eat crow.
