They have 33 shots despite 6 minutes of nothing on the PP. Let that sink in.
Around 20 in the first period I believe? The Bruins are such an odd team when it comes to generating legitimate chances or scoring with consistency. Perhaps the PP is the cause but it is odd.

maybe building your top line around 2 guys in their mid 30s isn't something you can rely on
Especially when its two guys who have played a lot of hard minutes during their career.

Marchand and Bergeron both seem to have fallen off an offensive cliff lately. (Except when they play a shit team like Buffalo)

How do you not even attempt a dump at this point? Like it's not a difficult concept.

I don’t get how every single board member isn’t all over this every PP. The opposition just lines up everyone at the blue line and they will not dump the puck. It’s unbelievable.

I’m pretty “pro-Cassidy” by this board’s standard but I have no doubt that’s hugely on his philiosophy and it’s a problem. The pP needs a change. Or four.

When the BRUINS have a man advantage, it shouldn't be called a PP. It should be called a man advantage. And I'm not even sure it's an advantage.

I was feeling decent about this series before tonight, despite having no reason to be optimistic based on how Carolina owned us this season. I'm far less optimistic now. Can't win if you can't score.
