I watched tonight and Marchand was invisible. Not even playing dirty like he usually does.
When he got the penalty for being the usual clown he is, that sort of changed things that he knew he was going to get called for his bilullshit that he usually gets away with

Comment from a prominent former NHLer btw. I think we're all on the same page here. Hard to watch what is happening to our once great game

I firmly believe the NHL is fixing games in favour of the Leafs.

It's honestly the only thing that can reasonably explain the Leafs continued playoff losses - league incompetence.

:biglaugh:

Ah yes noted Ottawa homer Methot is the right authority here. Maybe one day he'll see Brady Tkachuk in the playoffs, on another team.

I’m sure he knows the microscope is on him a little bit, and with the Bs anemic offense giving the Leafs powerplays is really playing with fire.

I don't know who is going to win game 7, but I do know one thing. Whoever loses will blame the refs. The takes after losses, both sides, have been silly, especially in a series with so much subpar play.

Florida should have an easy ride to the Conference finals. But still have to play the games. Anything can happen.
No easy rides in division matchups. FL games with each team are always close.
I don’t expect any curb stomping as some do.

Well either Boston chokes 3-1 two years in a row or Toronto comes back from 3-1 deficit vs Boston for the 3rd time and chokes in game 7. Either way the out come will be enjoyable for outsiders.

The fact that I don’t know which team he’s even talking about really brings home the fact that this is absolute nonsense.
