Culprit #2 is Matt Gryzlyk who deserves more mentions in the worst playoff performer of all time thread.Dreary game. Culprit #1 is the Boston ice. Neither team were able to skate or pass.
Leafs cannot win at home. I think Boston cleans it up in game 6This is going in 7, there is no way Toronto loses game 6
it would be poetic for Matthews to come back in toronto and blow the gameThis is going in 7, there is no way Toronto loses game 6

Maybe he should get better air conditioning. That ice was abysmal. Cheap f***After 50 years, people should know by now that Jeremy Jacobs will never let a 4th home game slip away.
I thought TO was done tonight. They were so bad in game four. They were a completely different team tonight. This is going in 7, there is no way Toronto loses game 6
The Leafs are going to want to put a show on for the home fans for sure. This is going in 7, there is no way Toronto loses game 6
Yeh I see neither of these teams doing anything against Florida. I'd be stunned if it goes past 5 games. The race to get smacked by Florida continues.
Neither team look like a genuine contender to put it mildly.

Tavares skating approx 3mph was able to one. Arm shove him out of the way the whole way
Complete and utter liability on the ice in the post season and Coaches keep putting him in for unknown reasons

Back when OLN had the broadcasts, they used to do games 1 and 2, give it back to local TV and take over for games 5-7. Something like that. I believe NBC did the same thing. (early 90s)Only through the second round. Jack infamously yelled SUMMERTIME IS COMING TO PHILADELPHIA after the Bruins completed the sweep of the Flyers, and Versus & NBC took over exclusive coverage of the ECF and SCF from there.
I don't know for sure but I suspect it was 1994. MSG definitely covered that one. I think once they got the Fox contract for 1995 it went exclusively national from there. But I may be wrong.
Tbf Leafs slaying the dragon would keep a lot of people their jobs even if they get slapped by Florida (again). The race to get smacked by Florida continues.
