it's not about beeing a powerforward, it's about effort. how can a 5'10 Gallagher has more jump than the captain in a game so important?

How isn't there effort? He's taken hits, skated hard, won battles against the boards. He plays where and how he has all year. It's not like he's dogging it or not back checking.

As always....the effort is there.....the results, not so much.

I saw the same in 2008 vs Flyers (Marty Biron!? How?), 2011 vs Bruins (many chances but either flubbed them or Thomas foiled them), 2013 vs Sens (outshot and outchanced OTT most of the time yet Anderson was a stonewall and everything Sens threw at net went in), 2014 vs Bruins (but got it done in 7 in spite of that), 2015 vs Sens (eked it out thanks to Hammond and Price coming up large in Game 6), 2015 vs Bolts (caught up to Habs thanks to their bouquet of incredible snipers)
