Just because he missed the hit doesn't negate the charging call. Blatant charge and it should have been a major for intent to injure.

I like having Richards on the 5 on 3. He's the only guy who actually shoots.

couldn't disagree more (or moore!). he slows down things and deliberates too much, leading to stagnant players. 5 on 3 with period ending should be decisive and should be getting shots. he decides to shoot often at the most inopportune times when it's obvious none of their slow passing back and forth is doing anything and of course it misses or gets blocked, story of his season.

did you watch the powerplay last game? Moore shoots, he loves having the puck, he can rip it and he can hit the net. He also has half a brain as a PP QB and doesnt force passes on guys like richards does

Referring to the guys who are actually on the ice. On a majority of our 5 on 3/5 on4 it's all pass pass pass and Richards takes shots from the point. If Moore is out instead that's fine too - he also shoots.

Our 5 on 3 was good when we had Jagr taking one timers/wrist shots from the right point. Nobody ever shoots from there anymore.

Brassard, MZA, Boyle, Moore and Clowe should be on the pp. Boyle can be infront of the goalie, Clowe and Moore can battle along the boards and MZA and Brassard can make the smart passes. U need a good mix of players. And when the pp ends, then we can put on the top line and push the caps even harder. Think about it. U use some of ur "soft" bottom liners on pp and if the pp fails, then u put on ur top line. It makes sense.

He should be suspended just for the thought of doing that
Can you imagine if that play was done to him.

I agree. He makes so many subtle plays. 1.7 mill cap hit is great value next year for him. The guy is playing like a legit top 4 d-man. Really impressed with his play.
