[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

There’s that 5, 10-minute span in the second period where they grabbed onto it and ended up getting a couple of goals off of it.
That’s what the playoffs are about... momentum swings.
- Ryan Callahan

For some reason, it went under the pad. I have to be more solid on the ice there.
I probably expected a pass and maybe I was a little slow to react, but it doesn’t matter. I have to stop that.
- Henrik Lundqvist

I’m not so sure Asham's play is a penalty. They call it, though. We can’t take that many penalties in a game.
They get a good bounce off the boards, but you just can’t take two in a row. So, hopefully, we’ll discipline ourselves the next game.
- John Tortorella

we're winning tomorrow, shutting the mouths of this front running fanbase and their russian star.

I don't smoke or drink, so all I can do to cope with losses is to eat. I have gained like 5 pounds since game 1.

This 12:30 start is on my list of things that make me die on the inside. Right behind shots of Sully with the whiteboard

Good lord, I'm barely out of bed by then. I didn't expect to watch a playoff game over breakfast. What nonsense is this? Glad I noticed it..

Would be ideal to take this series 1-1 to MSG. Although, you're never really in trouble until you lose on home ice. Rangers have something to prove to themselves tomorrow, hoping they come out and do that.

Also hoping for some new bodies in the lineup tomorrow!

I like 7-730 games since if we happen to lose my depression only lasts until I go to sleep, whereas if we lose tomorrow I will be sobbing uncontrollably for 13 hours.

We are the NY Rangers. We are the Blue shirts. The Team the Fans, and Good Ole New York. Where ever you might be, Your New York at heart. And the Rangers will win tomorrow. And we will win this series. Because no team captures us and makes us go through hell like the New York Rangers. But we will not be defeated. Whats done is done, and all that can be done now, is tomorrows task. So get your cheer going, get your nerves in check, grab your beers your whiskey or your can of coke, and lets cheer together as we kick the living **** out of the Caps tomorrow..LGR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

About to head to bed at the in laws house in northern Virginia. Heading to the game in the morning. Morning, WTF? Please win so that I don't have to fight my father in law.

Great a day game. I'll be missing this one.

Get it done boys. LGR

Hopefully when I wake up tomorrow morning I'll find out that some of the injured players will be ready to go. Huge difference between going home with the series 1-1 rather than 0-2. I don't care how, but just get it done.

Last time the Rangers played was on my 18th birthday (May 4, 2008), against Pittsburgh. Marian Hossa scored in OT to eliminate the Rangers from the playoffs.

Hopefully this one will erase that memory.

LGR!
