I sure hope so since he's really only useful to us in a physical/grit capacity. When he can stay on his feet he can do some damage along the boards as well in terms of winning puck battles, but we need him out their stirring shit up for us. He's huge and needs to use that size this series.

I know we assume Nikishin would hold his own, and it's obvious we had to play him once to burn a year, but also I would worry they would target him specifically. He's new to our system, new to North America, new to English, and new to the NHL. That's the freshest meat we can put on the ice.

It was much safer for his one game to be against Washington. Bennett would undoubtedly try to catch this kid with his head down.

He was a big Whalers guy, knew a lot of the players well. Bucci too. So did Berman but he got over it and generally just doesn’t give a shit about hockey anymore.

He's a New Yorker and I don't expect him to look at us fairly.

I saw in the last series that he was bragging that he was at Bossy's 50 in 50th game so I then understood his broadcast tendencies.

How much this the extra rest really does matter? As im not old professional sportman or even close myself, i cannot say, but it feels that it is bit exaggerated. They play whole year ebery second day, they play "only" 15-30 min....somehow for my eyes, i can never clearly see that there would be big difference on performance of pronhockey players.

But does it after all and how much? Is it more physical or mental side?

These guys beat the absolute crap out of each other. Rest helps.
