I’m still pissed that Kakko is out. Also, this is a pretty slow start for an elimination game!

It is such a head scratching decision. Its as if he thought the team was a Hunt away from competing. Instead, the Rangers scratch their 2nd overall pick from getting valuable playoff experience.

He has been one of their best players in protecting the puck along the boards and generating chances this post season. Its such a bad decision on his part.

I've said this for 2-3 years, the Rangers will win a cup before my NYI do. NYR just need a few more depth pieces in lines 3-4 and another top 4 dman and they will be unstoppable for the next 5-7 years, at least.

Also look how long it took for Hedman and Stamkos to win theirs? It took Point and Cirelli!

He has never played well with them despite getting a couple bounces. Kakko has never excelled with anyone over three years. At some point that is a kakko issue and not a team issue. If kakko wasn't picked 2oa would anyone even care that he is being scratched?

Considering that he was on our best line this postseason, yeah I think we would.
